Professor Ana Azurmendi (February 2006 – September 2006)

Professor Azurmendi is from the University of Navarra, Spain where she is Professor of Media Law at their School of Communication. She also holds the same position at the University of La Coruna in Spain. Whilst at the centre, Professor Azurmendi will be examining the political dimension of media law in recent democracies. Her study will concentrate on new democracies such as those in Eastern Europe.
