Additionally, the Regulation Discussion Group also organised a few stand-alone sessions in the field of Regulation as detailed below.
On the 15th February 2012, Prof. Sid Shapiro (Wake Forest University) presented a paper entitled ‘A Pragmatic Perspective on Democracy and Regulation.’ A copy of his paper can be found here.
On the 29th February 2012, Martina Maier, who is a Partner at McDermott Will & Emery, presented a paper entitled ‘Regulation of Networked Industries: The Case of Slovak Postal Services and Berlin Water.’ Slides from this session can be found here.
