Ms Holly Hong (May 2006 – September 2006)

Holly Hong is an Assistant Professor and Head of Major at the International Communications College at the Communication University of China in Beijing. She is a current doctoral student at the CUC in China. Whilst at the centre and PCMLP in particular, she will be continuing research for her doctorate on the changes in the British public service broadcasting model and its possible significance for the construction of China's equivalent in the transnational context. The work will focus on the challenges and opportunities facing British public service broadcasting in the digital age and particularly on the process and essence of policy-making and how China will regulate media in a global context.
