John Dawson (Michaelmas Term 2008)

John is Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. Whilst at the Centre, John will be working on two related projects: The structure and central ideas for a book called The Problems of Mental Health Law and the provision of legal advice to and Oxford research group, headed by Professor Tom Burns, Professor of Social Psychiatry concerning a piece of socio-legal research that Prof. Burns will direct in Oxford on England's revised mental health laws.
