Professor Julian Rodriguez Pardo (1st July 2003 – 31st August 2003)

Professsor Rodriguez Pardo is Associate Professor in Audiovisual Communication at the University of Extremadura, Spain. His specialist research area is information law and information ethics. While at the Centre, Professor Rodriguez Pardo plans to develop his research project entitled ‘The Public Interest: limit and guarantee of the right to information’. The aim of the project is to define the notion of “reporting public interest” in order to establish an objective criterion about the times when the right to information of the citizens must prevail over other personal rights.
