We have had a number of Visiting Academics and Visiting Students involved in researching various aspects of comparative civil justice and civil procedure.

Professor Deborah Hensler of Stanford Law School continues her research on class actions.

Bartlomiej Karasiewicz of the Lublin University in Poland worked on the appeal procedure in England, Germany and Poland in 2009.

Magdalena Bober of the European University in Florence was present for two months in 2009 researching collective actions in Europe.

James F Reardon of the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, spent four months researching class actions in 2009.
