Doctoral Funding

There are a number of sources of funding available to DPhil candidates.

• For information about Law Faculty specific funding opportunities, for which also students at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies are eligible to apply, see: http://denning.law.ox.ac.uk/postgraduate/scholarships.shtml.

 

• Scholarships are offered by Blackfriars for those studying at graduate level with a topic related to faith based studies. For more details see their website:

British Academy Post-Doctoral Fellowships

The Centre welcomes enquiries from applicants for British Academy Post-Doctoral Fellowships.

This scheme is designed to enable outstanding early career researchers to strengthen their experience of research and teaching in a university environment, which will develop their curriculum vitae and improve their prospects of obtaining permanent lecturing posts by the end of the Fellowship.
