The University of Oxford Socio-Legal Review (OSLR) is a newly organized working papers series structured in an easily accessible e-journal format. The publication is managed and edited by Oxford post-graduate law students engaged in socio-legal studies. OSLR aims to gain a broader exposure for the rapidly developing and diversifying field of research into law and society. Publishing work by members of the University’s own Centre for Socio-Legal Studies along with work from across the UK and abroad, OSLR promotes discussion about important socio-legal topics by linking previously unpublished research with an interested and engaged readership. Viewing socio-legal scholarship as a public good, OSLR is dedicated to making such studies available to the public free of charge.

Socio-legal scholarship should be:

treated as a public good available to all, with publication as the essential vehicle for this availability
